Sunday School
- Sunday School is held each Sunday during the school year. It meets
Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. All
children are welcome! Adult Education
- Adults gather each week (during the school year) following worship for
education and discussion on a variety of topics related to the church.

February 7
“Christian Community” - Bob Hulteen, Editor of Metro Lutheran
This session will be a presentation on
three communities: Lutheran Volunteer Corp, Sojourners and St.
Martin's Table.
February 14 “Taize Community” -
Professor Dirk Lange
The Taize Community is in France. Its
beginning was during days of World War II. It has become world
famous for its devotional literature and music. Professor Lange was
part of the Taize Community for many years.
February 21 “Parable” - Pastor
Ronald Johnson
“Parable” is a timeless story that
speaks to people of all ages and backgrounds. It is a film that was
produced by the Council of Churches of the City of New York. The
story concerns the life and ministry of Jesus the Christ and
humankind’s response. There will be a discussion of basic themes in
the story.
February 28 “The Church’s Welcome to
Lay and Lesbians Christians” - David R. Weiss
David Weiss is the author of the
recently published book titled "To the Tune of a Welcoming God."
Confirmation
- Confirmation instruction for those in middle school and high school
meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m., as part of the LOGOS
program.
LOGOS - LOGOS
is a midweek educational program for youth. It
includes time for lesson, recreation, fellowship, music, and a meal.
LOGOS is held each Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. during the school
year. LOGOS meets on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. |
